Nuit Blanche is a literary magazine dedicated to all French-language literature, whatever its form, genre, medium or readership. With rigor and curiosity, it explores all contemporary literary production, whether local or translated, emerging or established, experimental or popular.

Anchored in a living critical tradition for over forty years, Nuit Blanche strives to make texts accessible to a broad, curious public, while accompanying its readers in the discovery of new writing and new narratives.

The magazine asserts its place both in the book world and in the field of contemporary literary arts and digital literatures, by supporting the publication, criticism and dissemination of innovative works. It values hybrid forms, emerging voices, unexpected genres and narrative experimentation.

Through essays, reviews, interviews, creative texts and chronicles, the magazine actively contributes to the literary life of Quebec, Canada and the rest of the world. Its mandate is to support the diversity of literary expression, to build bridges between generations, and to give voice to the plurality of voices of yesterday, today and tomorrow.
