    Craig T. Palmer teaches anthropology at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. He has worked as a commercial fisherman in New England for five years and has published several articles on this fishery. From 1990 to 1992 he held a post-doctoral fellowship from the Institute of Social and Economic Research at Memorial University to study the social impact of fishery policy in northwest Newfoundland.
