Résumé

L’article traite de la production sociale de la loi criminelle canadienne concernant la conduite d’une automobile après avoir consommé des boissons alcoolisées. Suite à une recension des écrits, une partie du texte décrit l’intégration des dispositions légales nouvelles au cours de quatre périodes entre 1921 et 1985. Une autre partie s’attarde à montrer les conséquences sociales et légales de telles dispositions.

Abstract

The article deals with the social production of the canadian criminal law concerning drunk driving. After a survey of the literature, part of the work describes the integration of new legal provisions during the four periods between 1921 and 1985. Another part shows the social and legal consequences of such legal provisions.
