PRINCIPES DE DROIT INTERNATIONAL APPLICABLES AU PHÉNOMÈNE DES PLUIES ACIDES

Résumé

L’auteur examine les règles de droit international applicables au phénomène des précipitations acides. Il expose et analyse les principales obligations des États dans le domaine de la pollution transfrontière : le devoir général de vigilance, le principe de bon voisinage, la notion d’abus de droit, le principe d’utilisation équitable des ressources naturelles communes aux États et l’obligation de prévention des dommages attribuables à la pollution.

Abstract

The author examines the rules of international law applicable to the phenomenon of acid rain. He states and analyses the principal State obligations concerning transboundary pollution: due diligence duty, the good neighbour principle, the concept of right abuse, the principle of equitable use of shared natural resources and the obligation to prevent damages resulting from pollution.
