Résumé
Cet article pose les premiers jalons d’un cadre d’analyse socio-énonciatif visant à rendre compte de l’alternance de phases fluides et de tâtonnements, depuis les simples pauses délimitant les unités de sens jusqu’aux ruptures syntaxiques, en passant par les pauses vocalisées et autres télescopages, qui caractérisent les énoncés en français parlé produits en situation d’entretien. Une habilitation théorique du concept de « marqueur en creux » est esquissée. La difficulté d’énonciation paraît liée à la mise en discours de notions thématiques définies dans le prolongement de la théorie des opérations énonciatives d’Antoine Culioli. Un cadre pragmatique lui est adjoint, minimisant le principe gricéen de coopération au profit de celui d’incomplétude de l’échange, dont la valeur heuristique paraît ici plus productive.
Abstract
This article presents the broad lines of a socio-cognitive framework, hoping to provide an explanation for the phases of fluidity and discontinuity alternating in spoken French in interview settings. The concept of "empty marker" is sketched out, referring to the various pauses, syntactical breaks and telescopages that characterize such utterances. The difficulty experienced by participants in the process of verbalization appears to be related to the implementation of discourse-level notions, borrowed and adapted from Culioli's theoretical framework. A pragmatic background is also presupposed, downplaying the Gricean principle of cooperation and replacing it with that of "inherent unfulfillment of the exchange", more productive in this kind of setting.
