Abstract
This paper surveys research in psycholinguistics as it has evolved since the nineteen seventies in the domains of language comprehension and language production. The first part presents the new research paradigms of cognitive neuropsychology and connexionism, as well as research on event-related brain potentials and on eye-movement during reading. The second part summarizes some of the main developments, first in language production, then in language comprehension.
