Il inspire l'analyse des résultats des élections provinciales qui se sont déroulées dans l'île d'Orléans depuis 1970. L'interprétation révèle une socialité proprement partisane et des traits économiques et sociaux qui découlent du modèle. Il sert aussi à comprendre des phénomènes politiques, exogènes à l'île d'Orléans, qui ont des incidences électorales plus ou moins différenciées dans les six localités de l'île. AB - An allegorical model, one with hands held oui symbolically to one another, represents the manner in which family ties define the main characteristics of social structure. This has inspired an analysis of the results of provincial éelections in the île d'Orléans since 1970. Their interpretation bring to light a partisan social structure, as well as economic and social traits which follow from the model also serves in the understanding of political phenomena external to the île d'Orléans, having electoral effects that differ to an extent between the six communities on the island.
