L’interprétation des oeuvres d’art : proposition d’une démarche

Résumé

Le présent article propose un canevas destiné à des débutants inscrits dans le programme de formation à l'enseignement des arts plastiques. Ce canevas qui a pour but de les guider dans la démarche d'interprétation critique des oeuvres d'art a été développé d'après l'observation du travail des critiques professionnels et à partir de l'expérience propre des autrices. Les opérations et les dimensions en cause dans l'interprétation ont été identifiées et ordonnées en trois phases nommées imprégnation, exploration créatice et synthèse. Réalisée dans une perspective didactique, cette étude vise à offrir des moyens concrets susceptibles d'aider les étudiants à interpréter des oeuvres de manière critique plutôt que naïve.

Abstract

This article proposes a plan for guiding pre-service art teachers in procedures for critical interpretation of art work. The development of this plan was based on observations of the work of professional critics and that of the authors themselves. The operations and dimensions which influence interpretation were identified and ranked into three phases : impregnation, creative exploration, and synthesis. The aim of this study is didactic in nature: to offer concrete methods for helping students to interpret works of art critically rather than naively.

Este articulo propone un plan, destinado a principiantes inscritos en un programa de formaciôn de maestros de artes plasticas, para guiarlos en la interpretaciôn critica de obras de arte. El plan se desarrollo a partir de la observaciôn del trabajo de criticos profesionales y a partir de la propia experiencia de las autoras. Las operaciones y las dimensiones involucradas fueron interpretadas y ordenadas en très fases llamadas impregnacion, exploraciôn creadoray sintesis. Las autoras realizaron este estudio bajo una perspectiva didâctica, para ofrecer a los estudiantes medios concretos que pudieran ayudarlos a interpretar las obras de manera mas bien critica que cândida.

Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Artikel skizziert eine Anleitung fur noch unerfahrene Studenten der Kunsterziehung, um ihnen damit zu einer kritischen Interpretation von Kunstwerken zu verhelfen. Die Anleitung fußt auf der Arbeit der beruflichen Kritiker und auf der eigenen Erfahrung der Verfasserinnen. Die Vorgänge und Dimensionen der Interpretation wurden in drei Durchdringung, schöpferisches Auskundschaften und Synthese genannte Phasen gegliedert. Die Verfasserinnen haben diese Untersuchung aus didaktischer Sicht unternommen, um den Studenten mit konkreten Mitteln zu helfen, von einer naiven zu einer kritischen Interpretation von Kunstwerken gelangen.
