Résumé
Les organismes spécialisés dans l’intervention auprès des auteurs de violence conjugale ont exprimé le besoin d’être accompagnés par des équipes de recherche afin de documenter la réalité des personnes utilisant leurs services et d’appuyer leurs pratiques sur des données empiriques. Leur connaissance approfondie des besoins de leurs usagers s’est développée en parallèle aux écrits scientifiques qui les inspirent dans l’élaboration et la mise à jour de leurs interventions. De leur côté, les chercheurs du milieu académique ont tout intérêt à tirer parti de l’expérience de ces organismes pour ancrer leurs connaissances dans les réalités du terrain, tout en orientant leurs questions de recherche selon les préoccupations des intervenants. Sur la base de ces constats, le partenariat de recherche CRIPCAS – À coeur d’homme a vu le jour. Il s’agit d’un exemple inspirant d’une collaboration recherche-pratique favorisant à la fois le développement des services et des connaissances en violence conjugale. À travers une démarche de collaboration partenariale, l’expertise des équipes de recherche est jumelée à celle des milieux de pratique. Un comité consultatif permet de concilier les impératifs de la recherche à la réalité et aux besoins du terrain. Sous la forme d’un récit de pratique, nous présentons les enjeux et les défis de la collaboration, ainsi que les facteurs de succès ayant permis de co-construire des projets novateurs contribuant au développement des savoirs et à l’amélioration des pratiques. Ce récit permet de faire la démonstration que les projets de recherche qui naissent d’abord des besoins concrets des milieux de pratique et qui les incluent tout au long du processus en mode co-construction représentent un potentiel d’impact réel sur les usagers dans la personnalisation et l’amélioration durable de la qualité des services psychosociaux qui leur sont offerts.

Abstract
Community organizations specialized in interventions with perpetrators of intimate partner violence have expressed the need for support from research teams to document the experiences of individuals using their services and to substantiate their practices with empirical data. They have developed an in-depth understanding of the needs of their users, which has evolved alongside scientific literature that informs the development of their interventions. However, researchers in the academic field can benefit from leveraging the expertise gained by these specialized organizations to ground their knowledge in realworld contexts and to inform their research questions based on the concerns of practitioners. The research partnership between CRIPCAS and «À coeur d’homme» serves as an inspiring example of a researchpractice collaboration that promotes both service development and knowledge advancement in the field of intimate partner violence. Through a collaborative partnership approach, the research teams’ expertise is combined with that of practitioners. An advisory committee ensures that research imperatives align with the realities and needs of the field. In the form of a practice narrative, we present the challenges and outcomes of this collaboration, as well as the factors that have allowed for the co-creation of innovative projects contributing to the development of knowledge and the enhancement of practices. This practice narrative demonstrates that research projects, initially driven by concrete needs in the field and involving practitioners throughout the co-construction process, have the potential for a genuine impact on users by nourishing the long-term tailoring and improvement of the quality of psychosocial services offered to them.
