Abstract
Based on biblical, liturgical and christological considerations, this article distinguishes, in the New Testament, three entities, all called “priest(s)” : Jesus, the people of God, and the elders in the Christian communities. Unfortunately these entities are very often mixed up in French translations from the Greek or the Latin. So one wonders : are these entities synonyms, or different, although interconnected ? And if they are interconnected, how so ?
