Biographical note
Monica Martinelli is Associate Professor of Sociology at Catholic University of Milan and a member of the Centre for the Anthropology of Religion and Cultural Change (ARC). She has published papers on Simmel’s thought on freedom and his anthropological view and translated Simmel’s text Über Freiheit (1918). She has also contributed to the Georg Simmel Handbuch bei Suhrkamp (to be published in 2018).
