Cynanche Trachealis, the subject of this discourse, is a disease of an inflammatory nature, seated in the mucous membrane lining the trachea, and frequently extends into the minute ramifications of the bronchiae, and in the progress of the disease is accompanied with an exudation of coagulable lymph, which soon assume a membranous form and lines the inflamed surface.
