Procès de travail, rapports de parenté et transformations techniques

Cet article vise à restituer les caractéristiques empiriques du procès de travail dans une entreprise des Bois-Francs au Québec. Le but est d'avoir prise ainsi sur les stratégies et pratiques économiques des Québécois francophones et sur leur transformation. Le résultat principal de l'analyse est qu'on ne peut comprendre ces transformations sans tenir compte de la présence des rapports de parenté dans les rapports de production eux-mêmes et leur remise en cause suite aux transformations techniques sur la chafne de production. L'article est théoriquement inspiré surtout par les travaux de Maurice Godelier.

Summary

Production Processes, Kinship Networks and Technological Innovation

The article sets out to determine the empirical traits of production processes in a Bois-Francs, Québec company. The intention is thus to identify the economic strategies and practices of Francophone Quebecers and also transmutations thereof. The major finding of the analysis is that one can hardly understand such changes without reference to the effects of kinship patterns evident in interrelated production techniques and the evolution of the latter because of technological innovation along the assembly line. The article's underlying theory derives largely from the work of Maurice Godelier.
