À propos

Established in 1969, BC Studies is a quarterly devoted to understanding British Columbia. It plays a unique role in the intellectual life of the province. Housed at the University of British Columbia from its inception, BC Studies is a highly-regarded, interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal, an important publishing venue of original research from a diverse group of scholars, and a training ground for students. Through a focus on British Columbia, BC Studies provides a regional link between disciplines in the social sciences and humanities, and between the scholarly community and passionate generalists. A typical issue contains five to six articles, book, film, and new media reviews by authorities in the field, and an ongoing bibliography of books, articles, and audiovisual material on BC. Our contents also include research notes, Podcasts, Soundworks, Case Comments, photo-essays, review essays, reflections, and forums.
