Tony Fouhse est un photographe commercial et éditorial qui a également une pratique personnelle. Depuis 2002, il se consacre à un projet portant sur les États-Unis intitulé American States et, de 2007 à 2010, il a élaboré User, une série de portraits qui lui ont valu une reconnaissance internationale. Tony Fouhse a reçu le prix Karsh pour la photographie en 2010. Son travail fait partie entre autres de la collection nationale de photographies de Belgique, de la banque d’oeuvres du Conseil des arts du Canada et de la collection de la Galerie d’art d’Ottawa.
