Le développement psychosocial des jeunes à besoins éducatifs particuliers à travers l’éducation par l’aventure

Résumé

L’article explore le potentiel qu’offre une approche novatrice qu’est l’éducation par l’aventure (ÉA) laquelle vise le développement psychosocial auprès des jeunes ayant des besoins éducatifs particuliers. Cet article permettra de situer tout d’abord notre rapport à la nature et à l’aventure dans notre société. Ensuite, un bref historique viendra mettre en lumière les fondements de l’éducation par l’aventure. Finalement, les perspectives qu’elle offre en matière de levier de changements scolaires et sociaux seront mises en évidence à travers un exemple vécu dans la Commission scolaire de la Jonquière.

Abstract

The article explores the potential of an innovative approach, Education through Adventure (EA), the main objective being the psychosocial development of youth with special educational needs private individuals. This article will first situate the relationship to nature and adventure in our society. Then, a brief history will highlight the fundamental principles of EA. Lastly; the opportunities in terms of leverage for academic and social change will be highlighted through an example from the Commission scolaire de la Jonquière.
