Comprendre les risques psychosociaux pour agir Understanding the Psychological Risk before Acting

Résumé

Le phénomène des risques psychosociaux est apparu dans un contexte de transformation du monde du travail. Les bibliothèques sont notamment concernées par les effets de la nouvelle gestion publique et du numérique. La compréhension des risques psychosociaux gagnerait à s’appuyer sur les sciences humaines et sociales (SHS) : ergonomie, psychologie, sociologie, etc. pour en saisir la complexité et le caractère plurifactoriel. Les outils proposés par les SHS sont opérants pour agir sur les risques psychosociaux. Cela passe bien évidemment par l’introduction de ces approches dans la formation initiale et continue des professionnels des bibliothèques et de l’information.

Abstract

The phenomenon of psychosocial risks has emerged in the changing workplace. Libraries are particularly concerned with the impact of new forms of public management and digital technology. A better understanding of the psychosocial risks would emerge if the expertise of various fields in the humanities and social sciences (HSS), such as ergonomics, psychology, and sociology, was used in order to understand their complexity and multi-factorial nature. The tools proposed by the humanities and social sciences help manage the psychosocial risks. This obviously involves the implementation of these approaches in the initial education of library and information professionals as well as in their continuing education.
