AB - This contribution analyses Un roman d’Allemagne (2016) by Régine Robin in a threefold perspective: first through the (re)construction of the German history of the 20th century in the historical memory through various media and scars, embracing from historical sources, embracing preserved postcards and correspondences, but also street-names and oral testimonies; secondly in questioning the vision of Germany given in Robin’s essay which puts forward the history of the forgotten, the resistant and the persecuted victims of the Nazi regime; and, finally, this contribution analyses the complex relations between fiction and non-fiction, historiography and literature which characterize the discursive and narrative structure of Régine Robin’s hybrid and experimental work.
