The International Health Trends and Perspectives (IHTP) journal is an academic, double-blind peer reviewed scientific journal housed within the Public Knowledge Project Open Journal Systems at Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto, Canada.
IHTP’s mission is to increase the scholarly and creative dialogue on all aspects of global and planetary health through the dissemination of theoretical, empirical, and practical scholarly work related to the key topics of wellbeing from around the world.
Submissions from researchers, scientists, scholars, educators, and community partners of all disciplines are welcomed. IHTP publishes high quality, original scholarly manuscripts in English. All manuscripts submitted undergo a double blind peer review process prior to being published online.
Editorials (discursive articles, comments); original articles (quantitative or qualitative research); reviews (systematic, scoping or integrative reviews, meta-analyses, meta-synthesis); theoretical-conceptual reflections (development of theory); report of experiences (social development projects, innovations in practice), and policy briefs are welcomed.
