Biographical note
Nicola Krantz is the architecture archivist in the Private Specialized Media Section at Library and Archives Canada (LAC). She completed her B.F.A. in Art History at Concordia University and recently graduated with an M.A. in Art History from Carleton University. Her graduate research focused on the emergence of the interior decorating profession in interwar Toronto, and the role department stores and women’s magazines had on its development. As an archivist, she is striving to acquire the first fonds of a woman architect at LAC.
