Résumé
L’utilisation des sites web comme outil de communication est un domaine investi par les chercheurs et tout un courant académique analyse l’information en matière environnementale et sociale divulguée par les entreprises sur leur site web. L’objet de cet article est de s’interroger sur la place accordée à ces questions par un échantillon exploratoire de 50 prestataires de services logistiques mondiaux. Nous aboutissons à la conclusion que la responsabilité sociale et environnementale est effectivement un thème « porteur » de la communication des prestataires de services logistiques avec cependant des degrés d’implications différents selon les entreprises.

Abstract
The use of web sites as a communication tool is widely investigated by academic researchers. Some research especially analyses the social and environmental disclosure practices of firms on their web sites. The paper aims to examine the place taken by these questions in the communication of providers of logistics services (PLS). An Analysis of data provided by the web sites of 50 world-wide PLS was conducted. The findings suggest that corporate social responsibility is an important concern for the PLS, though with different degrees of involvement.

Resumen
La utilización de los sitios web como herramienta de comunicación es un sector explorado por los investigadores y toda una corriente académica analiza la información en términos ambientales y sociales difundida por loas empresas e, sus sitios web. El asunto de esta comunicación es preguntarse cual es la importancia dada a esas preguntas con un abanico de 50 prestadores de servicios logísticos mundiales. Llegamos a la conclusión de que la responsabilidad social et ambiental es efectivamente un tema “portador” de la comunicación de los suministradores de servicios logísticos con grados de implicaciones diferentes a pesar de todo según las empresas.
