Résumé
Cet article aborde la question des crimes sexuels sur internet (accès, possession, distribution de pornographie juvénile, leurre informatique) de même que la question souvent posée à savoir si les auteurs de tels crimes sont aussi des agresseurs sexuels actifs ou des agresseurs sexuels potentiels. Les caractéristiques distinguant les auteurs de crimes sexuels sur internet des auteurs d’agressions sexuelles avec contact seront précisées de même que les facteurs de risque associés aux abus sexuels avec contact. Les mécanismes par lesquels les consommateurs de pornographie juvénile peuvent en venir à commettre des agressions sexuelles avec contact seront présentés. Des pistes d’intervention s’adressant aux auteurs de crimes sexuels sur internet seront proposées.

Abstract
This article addresses the issue of sexual crimes on the Internet (child pornography (CP) access, (CP) possession, (CP) distribution and internet luring) as well as the question often asked whether these perpetrators are also active sex offenders or potential sex offenders . The characteristics distinguishing internet sex offenders from contact sexual offenders will be specified as well as the risk factors associated with contact sexual offenses. The mechanisms by which child pornography consumers can come to commit contact sexual offenses will be presented. Avenues for intervention with internet sex offenders will be offered.
