Expérimenter les hybridations entre recherche-création et médiation : pour une rencontre entre institutions culturelles et marges

Résumé

À la fois projet socioculturel et de recherche par le milieu, le Laboratoire Culture Inclusive, de l’organisme Exeko (Montréal, Canada), a mis en place entre 2016 et 2019 différents volets d’activités mêlant des pratiques propres à la recherche-création, à l’ethnographie collaborative, à la médiation culturelle, au théâtre invisible, à la création littéraire et aux arts visuels. Ces expérimentations, s’inscrivant dans une approche d’épistémologie sociale critique, visaient à la fois à rendre compte des différentes perspectives situées des groupes et personnes minorisées ou marginalisées parties prenantes du projet et à faciliter la construction collective de connaissances autour de l’accès aux arts et à la culture. En adoptant la forme d’un compte-rendu s’intéressant particulièrement aux hybridations méthodologiques, cet article propose certaines pistes de réflexion et d’action pour guider la recherche partenariale et participative ainsi que l’action culturelle et communautaire.

Abstract

As both a socio-cultural and community-based research project, the Inclusive Culture Laboratory, led by the group Exeko (Montreal, Canada), has set up various activities between 2016 and 2019 that combine practices specific to creative research, collaborative ethnography and cultural mediation, Invisible Theater, literary creation, or visual arts. These experiments, as a part of a theoretical approach to critical social epistemology, aimed both to account for the different perspectives of marginalized groups and people involved in the project, and to facilitate the collective construction of knowledge around the access to arts and culture. By adopting the form of a report that is particularly interested in methodological hybridization, this article proposes some lines of reflection and transversal action to guide participatory research projects as well as cultural and community action.

Resumen

Como un proyecto de investigación sociocultural y comunitario, el Laboratorio Cultura Inclusiva, del organismo Exeko (Montreal, Canadá), puso en marcha entre 2016 y 2019 diversas actividades que combinan prácticas propias a la investigación-creación, etnografía colaborativa, mediación cultural, teatro invisible, creación literaria e incluso artes visuales. Inscribiéndose en un enfoque de epistemología social crítica, estas experimentaciones tenían, por un lado, el objetivo de dar cuenta de las diferentes perspectivas de los grupos y personas marginados involucrados en el proyecto, y por otro, el de facilitar la construcción colectiva del conocimiento sobre el acceso a las artes y a la cultura. Adoptando el formato de un informe sobre las hibridaciónes metodológicas, este artículo propone algunas aristas de reflexión y acción transversal para guiar la investigación colaborativa y participativa tanbien como la acción cultural y comunitaria.
