A recent survey of geoscientists workingin Arctic Canada indicates that majorresearch interest in the north is focusedon the structure and development of thepolar margin, early Paleozoic tectonics,sedimentary processes and the geody-namic history of the northern Yukonregion. A summary of major Arctic geo-scientific problems is presented herealong with recommended future direc-tions of study.
