Voyage au coeur de l’immonde ou la fouille exploratrice de Claude Gauvreau

Résumé

Cet article s'attarde au rapport entre la création de la langue exploréenne, qui s'inscrit dans un travail d'extirpation et de démembrement de la langue, et une figure particulière présente dans l'oeuvre de Claude Gauvreau, plus precisèment mise en scène dans la pièce « Pétrouchka » : celle de l'éventrement de la femme. Dans ce contexte, l'immonde est envisagé comme structure du réel de la mort qui fait retour à travers la représentation du corps de la femme éventrée, allant même jusqu'à s'incarner dans la lettre sous la forme des jappements glossolaliques qui apparaissent comme une manière de dire l'inconnu lié à la mort.

Abstract

This article focuses on the relation between the creation of the explorean language, which is part of a work of eradication and dismemberment of language, and a figure that is particularly present in the work of Claude Gauvreau: the disembowelment of a woman, which is specifically presented in the play Pétrouchka. In this context, hideousness ("l'immonde") is viewed as a structure of the reality of death that makes its return through the representation of the disembowelled woman and is even embodied in the letter as glossolalie barks; these sounds appear as a way of speaking the unknown related to death.
