1940 — L’histoire dans la poésie canadienne-franc̀aise de 1860-1900.Abstract
Dans la littérature canadienne-française c'est la période de 1860-1900 qui est la plus intéressante et la plus importante au point de vue littéraire et historique. L'histoire fut la source d'inspiration de ces grands poètes canadiens français comme Crémazie, Fréchette, Chapman et LeMay qui appartiennent a la meilleure époque de la littérature de ce jeune peuple. Il n'est pas étonnant que l'histoire, surtout l'histoire du Canada, ait été l'inspiratrice de ces poètes, parce qu'on ne saurait nier l'influence de l'histoire chez les peuples depuis le commencement de la civilisation et surtout dans la littérature nationale d'un pays.
