Lost in the Dream by Josh Malcolm.

Acrylic on canvas.

Through my art, I seek to illuminate the vast, uncharted territories of our inner worlds, believing that the act of painting is akin to an inward odyssey-a profound exploration of the psyche and the unseen realms of human experience. There is a visceral conversation being had which transcends the intellect. The idea is to get the work to speak for itself, to form a vocabulary and language of its own. When a painting is done, it's alive-and to be alive is the point. In this way, my work becomes a living entity, engaging viewers in a dialogue that goes beyond words, tapping into the raw essence of human emotion and experience. Each piece is an exploration of inner travel, a testament to the power of abstract expression to convey the ineffable aspects of our inner worlds.
