The HIV-1 RNA genome encodes the main structural polyprotein Gag, Gag/Pol (structural proteins and enzymes), auxiliary (Vpr, Vpu, Vif) and regulatory proteins (Tat, Rev, Nef). The expression of the full complement of viral gene products enhances both the replication and the pathogenic potential of the virus. In our previous work we showed that HIV-1 expression prevented eIF2alpha-dependent stress granule (SG) assembly in cells. SGs are translationally silent sites of RNA triage and can be readily visualized in cells due to clustering of cytoplasmic RNA and the recruitment of multiple cytoplasmic proteins (e.g., TIA/R, G3BP and eIF3). The present study is devoted to the morphologies and corona compositions in aggregates of mixtures of PS-b-PAA and PS-b-P4VP block copolymers as influenced by controllable assembly parameters, such as block length, pH, solvent, water content and the molar ratio of PAA/P4VP. Morphologies and surface properties of the aggregates were investigated by transmission electron microscopy and electrophoretic mobility, respectively. According to the results, the general hypothesis that the external corona is composed of long chains, while short chains form the inner corona of the vesicles, is valid only in mixtures without additives (no acid or base). Hyperactivity is a common presenting symptom among children seen in psychiatric clinics, and refers to an excessive level of activity which is sufficiently sustained to become a serious source of complaint. Until recently interest in the hyperactive child was confined to the psychiatric literature. As a result, most of the information currently available deals with questions of diagnosis and treatment.
