Ce texte contient la présentation et l'analyse du récit de vie d'une personne atteinte de cancer. Cette étude constitue l'un des volets d'une recherche récente ayant porté sur les aspects culturels de l'expérience du cancer au Québec dans la perspective de l'anthropologie médicale clinique. La discussion des matériaux ici exposés propose une intégration des principales voies d'analyse qui ont été empruntées dans la démarche de ce projet

SUMMARY

The following report presents and analyzes the life story of a person suffering from cancer. The study consists of one of the areas examined in the course of a recent research that deals with the cultural aspects of cancer subjects in Quebec, using the clinical angle of medical anthropology. Material discussed here suggests an integration of the main analytical approaches that have been used throughout this project
