Abstract By reason of performance, innovation or competitiveness, knowledge has become an important resource for organisations in the knowledge economy. Managing the explicit and the tacit knowledge represents a strategy with its own concepts, methods, and tools, which draws the attention of specialists. Through an analysis on a corpus of scientific articles, this study aims to identify those fields related to, or utilizing knowledge management. The objective of this task is to draft an inventory of study fields and of the various applications of managing knowledge, thus to contribute to a better understanding of its benefits. This paper sums up the preliminary results of this two-part analysis : twelve fields have been identified as bearing an interest in knowledge management; they will be compared to the results obtained in the second part of the analysis (in progress), in order to work out a portrait of knowledge management and its related study areas.

The education crisis we are experiencing is part of a series of crises shaking the planet, which seem to be accelerating at the start of the 21st century with the threat of the Anthropocene and pandemics. Thinking about education for a better world seems more necessary than ever. By focusing on education for global citizenship in the context of complex education, with reference to the work of Edgar Morin, our aim in this contribution is to shed light on the challenges facing education today, but also on the ways and a path of hope for outlining a way out of the current world crisis. Our discussion is accompanied by theoretical contributions that provide a better definition of education for global citizenship, complex education, and the training of citizens, linked to field experiments that provide a basis for designing the education of the near future.

Rainer Maria Rilke (1875-1926), born in Prague under the Austro-Hungarian Empire, grew up in a multilingual and multicultural environment, learned several languages in the course of his life and transformed them, through his literary creations, into a poetic idiom. His parallel bilingual creations, such as “Füllhorn” and “Corne d'abondance,” show his ability to write in German and French, a talent that also led him to actively collaborate on the French translation of his Aufzeichnugen des Malte Laurids Brigge [Notebooks of Malte Laurids Brigge] (1904-1910). Published in 1926 in Paris, this translation was undertaken between 1923 and 1925 by the Alsatian writer Maurice Betz and was based on a genuine dialogue between the two poets, as evidenced not only by their correspondence, but also by the book Rilke vivant (Paris, 1937) that Betz published as a tribute to the author of the Aufzeichnungen.

While “transdisciplinarity” is a term that is increasingly being used, particularly with regard to its potential to shed light on complex issues as highlighted by sustainability sciences, the contours of its definitions remain unclear. Based on my experience of mobilizing a specific participatory research tool based on photography – photovoice – I propose an analysis of transdisciplinarity through practice. A field work analysis will show how this scientific approach offers a critical approach to the construction of knowledge through a rigorous (in)discipline. Transdisciplinarity thus appears as a transformative epistemology, producing knowledge that can cause transformations at the level of socio-ecosystems, but also as an epistemological transformation, it is indeed co-constructed knowledge that mobilizes holistic, iterative, and relational modes of reasoning. The vision of transdisciplinarity developed in this article places it within an engaged perspective of deconstructing the power relations inherent in knowledge co-construction processes.

Dans les systèmes d'archipels, ces processus sont influencés par des interactions multiples entre des facteurs physiques du milieu comme la bathymétrie, la topographie, la morphologie des îles, l'étendue des plateaux insulaires et la distance géographique, et sont associés à des variations hydrodynamiques à petite et grande échelles. A classic text that is traditionally taught in school, La Fontaine's Fables, is now enjoying a new life thanks to digital technology. This medium gives the texts a new look including the ability to feature images and sounds. Do these new modes allow today's young readers to better appreciate texts whose difficulty have been noted for a long time, for example by Jean-Jacques Rousseau? Taking the judgment of taste as an introduction into the material, two French first-grade teachers used a sequence constructed from the fable of the "Wolf and the Lamb" sung in different styles. This made it possible to analyse the way in which the students understood the text and appropriated it for themselves.

This article considers the possibility of translational processes beyond translation through a genetic editing approach to an understudied phenomenon in Translation Studies, namely the use of intermediary allograph translations in collaborative self-translation. It considers a self-translator's practice of involving a hired translator to provide an initial translation of an entire work, later to be revised extensively by the author. With a focus on Romain Gary as its case study, it argues that an inductive extension of our notion of what is translational can offer a pathway to distinguishing between literal and metaphorical use of translation in literary theory. It thus suggests a potential alternative to existing translational discourse in interdisciplinary settings, as well as presenting a view of collaborative self-translation as a practice that can be fruitfully theorised within multiple paradigms in Translation Studies.

Based on the analysis of a challenging case from the OpéRA de poche (2021-2022) augmented-reality opera research-creation project led by the Canada Research Chair in Opera Creation, this article takes an interdisciplinary approach to the complex issue of cultural appropriation in opera creation today. The findings of studies on theatre and performance suggest avenues for reflection with potential for successful application in the opera context. The relationship between presence and representation and the intercultural relationship at the heart of the encounter fueling research-creation projects are the two axes of the dialogue that gives substance to the article, opening up a decolonial perspective. Quebec's artistic reality, as seen in the cases of the polemic against Robert Lepage's SLĀV and Kanata and the example of Ondinnok's Rabinal Achí, constitutes a framework in which to consider the issues arising from new forms of technological expression in the field of opera.
